Bottero is one of the largest shoe manufacturers in Brazil. The company was founded in 1985 by Paulo Victor Kauer, Regis Lauck, Gerson Lauck and Jainy Santos, and has seven production facilities. They are all located in Rio Grande do Sul, in the cities of Parobé, Santo Antônio da Patrulha, Travesseiro, Osorio Arroio Meio, São José do Hortencia and agudo.

The company produces 45,000 pairs of shoes a day. All made on the basis of research work developed by a team of brand designers. Designers travel abroad to attend trade fairs and fashion shows.
